Over the last three years, the PRESENCE Network is been guiding the process of mainstreaming of restoration of living landscapes. Over the last three years, the PRESENCE Network is been guiding the process of mainstreaming the restoration of ‘living landscapes’. This has mainly focused on research and producing knowledge around restoration (the ‘how’, the benefits etc) and building trust with key stakeholders. Currently, there is a lack of engagement with spiritual, religious and community around the topic of restoration, conservation and living landscapes. Those leaders can become (and are) a crucial partner in helping to shape perceptions, behaviour and awareness around the topic of restoration and conservation stewardship.
To effectively engage leaders in this process are looking to set up a ‘Presencing Journey’ with them to create a space of dialogue from a foundation of acknowledged common purposes, shared principles and common-understanding of the knowledge-creating process. The aim is to connect us and those leaders more deeply both with what we want to emerge from our higher selves— and empowering the leaders to find new, innovative solutions to old problems by evolving the learning and thinking systems to assist us in tackling land restoration challenges.
The PRESENCE Network is looking for an enthusiastic student who is keen to combine their thesis and internship to assist the network with undertaking this journey.
