A winning goal was scored earlier this year when the Embassy of the Netherlands selected our Elemental Equity Fund to help ‘green’ (i.e. offset) the Dutch national soccer team’s (Oranje) carbon generated by their travels during the FIFA 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
We are proud to announce that the resulting planting of 2000 spekboom trees in the Baviaanskloof is now complete. This action supported the employment of community members from the Baviaanskloof.
