Canon grants "The Question"

Sunshine Coast (AU): EarthCollective has been awarded the Canon Environmental Grant to support the eyes4earth programme: ‘The Question’. Canon Australia will provide the imaging equipment needed to ensure a quality project roll-out.

“We are delighted to receive this grant” said Programme Coordinator Matthew Zylstra. “Canon is renowned for its high quality products and we’re looking forward to putting them to clever and creative use.”

‘The Question’ was first launched in April 2007 and has been gathering momentum since. Using visual media, it aims to raise broader awareness of our daily connection to the natural environment. It simply collects the diverse perceptions people have of nature to help gain a better understanding of what ecosystems actually do for us.

“It is great to see the corporate sector getting behind these initiatives” adds Matthew. “Not only will the Canon Environmental Grant open up new possibilities for the ‘The Question’ but the recognition reinforces the potential of the programme to have a lasting impact.”
